I've always found Elliot's to be almost exactly like Danver's taste wise (they even have a salad bar to dress the burgers), which is not at all a bad thing, just not transcendent like a burger for Dyer's, Tops, or Alex's Tavern.jccvihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05308158236628593739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560727198801967664.post-7849287939707632802009-11-19T09:31:57.865-06:002009-11-19T09:31:57.865-06:00oh man, the first audit i ever worked on was in Re...oh man, the first audit i ever worked on was in Red Bay (we stayed in Russellville). i don't think i've ever had that much (deliciously) fried catfish in one 2 week period.

never made it to Erika's . . . wasn't there a "famous" German/Hamburger place downtown?? that might be Erika's?Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00611577956495039063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560727198801967664.post-50623775585202451132009-11-18T10:19:53.572-06:002009-11-18T10:19:53.572-06:00I had a nice day in the Shoals area when E's b...I had a nice day in the Shoals area when E's best friend got married in Russellville. It seemed like a nice place. Tuscumbia had a really nice Downtown that was full of young families.

Did you ever eat at Erika's Downtown? It had the best selection breads that they'd bring to the table with perfectly room temperature butter. Pair that with sauerbraten and sauerkraut or an assortment of wursten and you would get NOTHING done at work that afternoon. Mind you, this is without beer.

It's hard to beat german food for heartiness.jccvihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05308158236628593739noreply@blogger.com
